Escape away for some relaxation. Palm Springs was a nice getaway that was far enough to get out of town, but not too far where you'd be exhausted. It's very beautiful and green there. Lots and lots of trees everywhere. Seriously. We went to Mount San Jacinto State Park and got to ride a tram up to the top (don't look down if you're scared of heights). And there's a big outlet nearby for some fun shopping time.
