Outfit Details: dress c/o LULU'S (here) / American Rag heels (from Macy's) / Poppie Jones clutch (from DSW) / F21 belt & bracelets / earrings c/o LULU's / DIY gold hand accessory / rings from personal collection
Oh man. This "Frilled to be Here" Lulu's dress was totally calling my name! When I saw it I instantly knew I wanted it and it didn't matter where I would wear it too. The ruffles and layers-upon-layers of frills galore throughout this dress is no joke. Every where you move the dress just flowed with you and, as you can see, I couldn't help but to twirl around it over and over and over again. It was just too beautiful and I also loved the uneven hemlines (so unexpected)! You can't see it but it also has detailed beading on the top layer ruffle which added an extra hint of glam to this dress. Whoever designed this, kudos to you - you did an amazing job!
And good thing for me, I had just the perfect occassion for this insanely gorgeous Lulu's dress. Last month I surprised the bf with tickets to the Avenue Q musical playing at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. I actually saw this musical 4 years ago when I first went to NYC and it was freaken hi-lar-i-ous! Like an adult version of Sesame Street (fyi there's a lot of adult humor so do not take any kids here). Everyone who I've recommended this musical (male and female friendly) have all really liked it so I was excited to be able to finally shared this experience with the bf. We've never been to the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center (great modern architecture) so it was nice to get out of OC for an evening. On top of that, we turned it into a double date night with my dear Jud and her guy. Woohoo!
On a side note, I can't believe it's Friday already. This week is going by super fast. TGIF everyone ~ hope you have an awesome weekend!
Sending love,
