OUTFIT :: Pantone's Color of the Year in Radiant Orchid

5.07.2014

When I found out that Pantone's 2014 Color of the Year was radiant orchid, I was pretty excited. Why? For multiple reasons that's why! #1: I love purple. #2: It is the color of royalty (and who doesn't like to feel like a princess every now and then?). #3: Everyone looks good in purple (period). Now keep on clicking to see more of this gorgeous purple open back dress...

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a sucker for anything backless, open-back, or with a low-back design. It's my ultimate signature look! So when I was online shopping (at ASOS of course), I stumbled upon this beauty and it was a no-brainer to add it to my shopping cart and complete that transaction. During this time I also got myself my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell heels and not just any heels but silver lucite heels (cue in the Ooo's and Ahh's). With so many fast fashion trends out there, I'm very particular on which ones I want to play with and I really liked the lucite heels look. After months and months of trying to find the perfect lucite heels (and almost giving up), there she was. Isn't it funny how when you stop looking, then you find what you've been searching for? Odd how the world works...

{FASHION TIP: Don't feel like you need to try all the fashion trends out there, there's too many so just stick to ones you like the most.}
