OUTFIT :: 30 Days, 30 Ways Campaign with Sseko Designs

7.30.2014

When Sseko Designs asked me to be a part of their 30 Days, 30 Ways to Educate Women in Africa campaign, I immediately jumped on board to support the cause...

For the month of July, Sseko Designs is having a 30 Days, 30 Ways to Educate Women in Africa campaign to show the versatile ways of wearing their sandals. As an ethical fashion brand, Sseko Designs was created to help underserved women in Africa pursue higher education. Sseko products are created by young women in Uganda to help them gain employment and assistance towards their college education. Just like their motto, "Using fashion to educate & empower women. Every Sseko has a story." Here I am wearing the beige ribbon sandals with the black chain rectangle accessory. Knowing the background of the Sseko Designs brand, I felt a sense of social justice as I wore these sandals. Maybe it's the social worker in me but any brand that works towards improving society in an "A" in my book.
