Rachel Zoe's "Live the Look" Event at South Coast Plaza

Every season designers come out with trends they love for the upcoming season and I'm excited to share some of Rachel Zoe's favorite picks...

A couple months ago, the Rachel Zoe herself made a special appearance at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa to host the "Live the Look" fall/winter 2014 fashion event to share her curated styles and thoughts from those amazing brands you always hear about. Oh yeah, you know what I'm talking about.

Brunello Cucinelli - this gray dress is amazing, isn't it? 

Rachel Zoe: "It's the new way to do evening wear."

Oscar de la Renta - I've previously worked behind the scenes at an ODLR fashion show before (HERE) and his dresses are always astonishing. 

Rachel Zoe: "He's an eternal crush that defines glamour and his dresses are perfect for the red carpet."

Roberto Cavalli - oh Roberto Cavalli, look at this one hot number!

Rachel Zoe: "His line is cool, sexy, and classy."

Versace - such a daring number, I would totally wear this! Does it come in my size? ;)

Rachel Zoe: "Versace is not afraid to be sexy."

Barbara Bui - funky and edgy with insane attention to details.

Rachel Zoe: "It's what the it-girls are coveting."

Chloe - I just can't stop lusting over their classic coats. They would look so great in my closet. ;)

Rachel Zoe: "It's wearable and luxurious, Chloe brings effortless glamour to the modern woman."

Gucci - so classy and perfect, I would wear it all!

Rachel Zoe: "It's my favorite designer."

Spotted behind-the-scenes with one of the lovely models and Jeannie, a makeup guru who I had my fashion internship with.

After the event, several SoCal stylists got to create outfits for models to wear featuring clothes from the local brands at South Coast Plaza.

Met these creative beauties at the event - Betty and Rebecca.

It was a fun night hanging out with these girls: Amanda, Donna, & Alyssa!

Of course, I had to take some photo booth pictures with these blogger gals. An event just isn't the same without one, you know?

My outfit for the night? I went with a simple black and white look that's neutral to wear for work and play after.

Although I didn't get to sit next to Rachel Zoe (*ahem* I think they forgot my seat, just kidding!), I did get the next best spot in the house - right in front of her. Oh man, she's so maj and inspiring I tell you!
