Happy July! Taking a break from my Spain adventures (HERE) to share a recent outfit I wore to dinner...
Last week I met up with a few high school friends, My and Sandy, for a sushi dinner date. I must admit, it gets harder and harder to keep in touch with friends as you get older. Everyone's lives just seems to get busier and busier. BUT, I've also learned that those who want to stay in touch with you will make the effort (and vice versa). For our girls night, I wanted to wear something fun and it just so happened that I got this matching two piece set (HERE) from one of my favorite online boutique Lulu's (oh, you HAVE to check them out if you haven't already! They're even having a sale going on right now). Unfortunately, the shorts from the two piece set didn't fit me (problems of a petite girl with a booty) so I paired it with this peach colored Dear Creatures skirt (HERE). I love the combination of the stripes with the pleats! It just gives the look some dimension and playfulness at the same time, you know? And these black AMI Clubwear wedges added the perfect amount of height to complete the ensemble. When you know what to wear, you'll be dinner ready in no time!
