Get ready cause there's a brand new donut shop in Irvine! Poqet Donuts, located in the Harvard/Main shopping area, allows you to craft your very own donuts with a variety of glazes and different toppings. You can customize your donut in three simple steps: choose your kind of donut (glazed, chocolate cake, vanilla cake, or vegan), choose your filling (cream & butter, fresh fruit, jams), and choose your toppings (candies, spices and nuts). Then devour away! Poqet Donuts also offers signature gourmet donuts including unique flavors like avocado, pistachio creme brulee, tiramisu, peanut butter, blueberry, s'mores, nutella, maple bacon, oreo, red velvet, and the list goes on! Kimberly and I had so much fun at the media tasting today and definitely got our sugar satisfaction. Each donut had its own special taste that wasn't too sweet or overpowering, just the right amount of light and fluffy sweetness. Be sure to stop by their grand opening on Saturday, November 14th at 9am - the first 100 guests will receive a free donut and 10% of the opening day sales will be donated to The Irvine Public Schools Foundation from 9am-4pm!
