Swept Away by Ralph Lauren's Romance + GIVEAWAY
12.22.2016
The type of perfume (or cologne) you wear can say a lot about you. Are you more into florals, citrus, musk, fresh, or woodsy scents? Each person has their own personality and, with that, their own type of fragrance that attracts them. For me, I'm more into the fresh smelling scents with a light hint of florals and the Ralph Lauren's Romance perfume (HERE) is definitely one of them! It combines the scents of ginger, chamomile, violet, and rose to create a truly romantic palette reminiscent of a forever love which captures the fragrance perfectly. From the very first spray, it was instant love at first smell. Get ready to be swept away by Ralph Lauren's Romance perfume for adventure lies ahead.

In the Zone with Reebok
12.07.2016
Time to refocus...
When it comes to working out, let's face it, we all break the rules here and there. We set up high expectations, stick to it for a couple weeks, and slowly working out goes to the back burner. If this is something you're guilty of, it's okay...me too. (And for those who are totally dedicated to their weekly fitness goals, congrats; you inspire me!) For months now, I've been in a workout slump where it was easy to crawl into bed after a long 8 hour work day. I mean, what amount of energy is left of me to give? Realizing this happening more and more often, I knew something in me had to change. This wasn't how I imagined my life to be. So I started small and made little weekly, realistic changes. I've incorporated more cardio, stretching, and toning into my weekly routine. It's not much but it's a start and sometimes that's all we need to do to get the ball rolling. Another thing I've noticed that helps put me in the zone to workout are cute fitness outfits - seriously! If you have clothes you like to wear then it really does help to make wanting to go work out easier. Being a total leggings-kind-of-girl, I was majorly obsessed with these mesh ones from Reebok and their oversized sweatshirt (that's perfect for a late night market run!) to help keep me on my fitness track during these cold weather months. I like how each piece has its own subtle design that can be worn separately or together. With that said, it's time to make less excuses and be more active. You don't have to wait until the new year to make new resolutions! You can start NOW.
What are some of your favorite workouts? I have never owned a gym pass (running and lifting weights just hasn't been my thing) so I would love to hear what you do to stay fit.
{FASHION TIP: Pick out black and white workout pieces to be able to mix and match anything in your fitness closet.}

Azazie Bridesmaid Dresses
11.22.2016
With all the planning that needs to get done during wedding season, allow me to introduce to you to Azazie, an online boutique featuring a variety of dresses for the entire bridal party. I've been in quite a few weddings (over 5 so far) and one of the hardest things to do was finding a bridesmaid dress. You wouldn't think so right? But, surprisingly, it was. From choosing a color to selecting a style, where does one begin? To make it easy, Azazie offers their customers an easy-to-navigate site where you can sort bridesmaid dresses from any of their 40+ color options. YES, you heard that right: there's over 40 colors to choose from! I really love this feature as it helps to visualize how the style would look in different colors to help choose which style you like the best. Any future brides-to-be out there? I totally recommend this site to help you find your next bridesmaid dresses at an affordable cost too.
What kind of style bridesmaid dress are you? No matter how many times I look at the site, the sweetheart neckline always gets me. It's simple, clean, and classy which can go a long way. I wore the Azazie Beatrice to a summer wedding and had so much taking these dreamy photos in this forest setting. It felt so magical!
{FASHION TIP: The Azazie site also allows you to customize dresses to create an even better fit, just be sure to plan ahead to have enough time for this.}

Portland Japanese Garden in Fall
10.27.2016
The first signs of fall are here to stay...
During my getaway last month, I traveled to Oregon and Seattle with Mr. T. We've been wanting to do this combo trip for a while now and we were so excited that we finally got to plan it! Whenever you probably think of Oregon, gorgeous views of nature probably pop into your mind right? Well, that cause this place lives up to that reputation! Everywhere you go, there are trees - in the city and while you're driving along the highway. It makes for a great scenic route no matter where you go. Here are some snapshots from when we visited the Portland Japanese Garden and International Rose Garden right next to it. If you're looking to escape the busy everyday city life, book a flight out here. You can't help but to come back refreshed and relaxed after enjoying a couple days out in nature. And another bonus? There's NO tax in Oregon so shop to your heart's delight!
Did you know? They had the Adidas Employee store out here where you can get 50%?! Just to the Portland Visitor Center in the morning and ask if they have any daily passes available. It's on a first come, first serve basis so the sooner you go, the better. Thanks to #TheATKTeam Tanya for sharing this inside scoop!
{TRAVEL TIP: Keep an eye out for cheap flights. We booked out Oregon ticket for $50 from Southwest. Shocking, I know!}

Visiting Hearst Castle
10.17.2016
Just not too far from Orange County, about a 2-3 hour drive, is the infamous Hearst Castle. Considered a national historic landmark, the 127 acres castle first opened in 1919 (which means it's almost 100 years old-wow!). Although it was not opened to the public at first, it has now become one of the popular places to visit in the Central Coast. I've gone here a couple times before and there was always something new to see with each visit. What's great about this place is that they have multiple tours going on at the same time and you can pick which area of the castle you want to explore. From touring the guest rooms to the actual kitchen to the dining halls and gardens, you can decide what interests you the most and no matter which one you select, each tour ends with the grand finale of the castle's pools (they have both and indoor and outdoor pool) which will surely take your breathe away! From the design details that were thought out for each room - let alone each piece selected - you can't help but to feel quite amazed at all the exquisite work put into creating this wondrous masterpiece. So if you're feeling adventurous, grab a buddy (or two) and plan a day trip to see this place for yourself!
What excites you more: seeing architecture or landscaping? With Hearst Castle, you get a good dose of both to enjoy. The tour gives you access to see the fine detailing of the architecture as well as a chance to view the floral landscapes. There really is something here for everybody.
{TRAVEL TIP: Highly recommend to plan ahead and book your tour tickets in advanced.}
CHECK IT OUT: Hearst Castle, 750 Hearst Castle Rd., San Simeon, CA 93452. Tel: (800) 444-4445. Tickets and tours info here.
Fun fact: Lady Gaga was the last to swim in the grand outdoor swimming pool (which is currently under construction) for her latest video. ;)
