k & j time

dress: fashion store, shoes: bakers

J (judith) is my fellow food connoisseur. Whenever we get together, we may never know what adventure lies ahead. She is one of those gfs where you can just laugh, be silly, and have fun by just enjoying the random moments. A rare friend indeed.

During our weekly happy hour night, we decided to try something new at BJ's. We were pretty hungry so we ordered with our stomachs. We got the angus beef sliders, California club pizza, and an Ahi poke appetizer. After the first bite of the Ahi poke, our eyes just lit up. We were in food heaven. I don't know how they created that new dish they just added to the menu, but the simplicity of it with the crunchy wonton chips made the perfect compliment. If you like raw sushi, then try this appetizer the next time you're at BJ's. Totally worth it!

what's happy hour without some cocktails right?
L to R: pomegranate sunset cocktail, Berri delicious cocktail

Angus beef sliders with crispy onions

California club flatbread pizza (ask for extra garlic aioli sauce)

Ahi poke (those wonton chips were SO GOOD!! I wonder if I can find it in the store somewhere)

...unfortunately we got so full from everything that we didn't get to order our new fav dessert there: the oreo cookies 'n cream pizookie. Next time for sure haha
