Outfit :: Red Lips and Leopard Prints

10.28.2013

Some days are just busier than normal, you know? When you happen to have multiple events back-to-back and no spare time in between. You know what I'm talking about right? Well, this day was one of them. I had a work event in the OC and then afterwards a show in LA. So what do you wear? In a case like this, find something that's transitional from day to night...

{What I Wore} black ruffle top :: Volcom leopard skirt :: black wedges :: Poppie Jones clutch (from DSW)

During the day, I helped host a beautiful bridal shower at work. Yup, I pretty much spent the whole morning decorating our show room (hard work, I know. What can I say? It's part of the duties as the office "Party Planner"). It was quite beautiful and very intimate for our double brides in the office. Now both of the brides are married and it was so great sharing their celebration!

After work, I went straight to an LA event called Glamourama and it was so much fun! I've never gone before and didn't know what to expect. In fact, I honestly thought it was going to be a musical. To my surprise, there was a mini Circus de Soleil performance, tons of fashion shows, and it ended with the Backstreet Boys. YES. I said the Backsteet Boys! Talk about a reliving a childhood memory, right? Man, random nights are sometimes the best nights and this was one of them. Check it out next year if you're in the LA area.

This outfit was both work appropriate for an office party and fancy enough to go out at night. I love it when things just work out perfectly, don't you?

{FASHION TIP: Top off a black and leopard combo with a bold red lip for an instant glam!}

Now let's get this week going and get things done! Time to check those things off your to-do list. Check check!
