Visiting the Bowers Museum

12.03.2015

Located right in Santa Ana is the infamous Bowers Museum...

For any of you out-of-towners, the Bowers Museum has been a historical part of the OC for as long as I can remember. In fact, it was founded in 1936 and just so happens to be the biggest museum in Orange County. I think the last time I was here was for a choir concert back in high school (let's not say how many years ago that was...). Quite frankly, I'm surprised I haven't been here sooner especially since it's so close to me! So I was pretty happy to get the chance to check out this place again when I came here for a media tasting at their newly remodeled Tangata Restaurant (post to come) a couple weeks ago. While we were here, we checked out a couple of the exhibits and explored the beautiful outside area. I mean, how could you not? It made for the perfect backdrop setting for my new Relax Feel outfit. I felt like it was summer in fall, which it really was.

What are some of your favorite museums? For some reason I tend to check out more museums when I'm travelling and some of my favorites are definitely in New York! The MOMA and the Natural History Museum are both really good ones to see if you're ever in the area.

{PARKING TIP: There is a parking fee is you park on their lot or you can park at the meters across the street if you're going for a short time.}
