It feels like no matter how much you prep in advance, there's *always* something that pops up at the last minute aka the holiday stress week. We alllll feel it.
So I'm teaming up with Providence Health System to share informative checklists to help manage mental health before, during, and after the holidays. #ProvidencePartner It's easy to get distracted with a nonstop list of things-to-do but it's also important to take breaks throughout and enjoy the moments in between. Even if it's just a quick 10-30 minutes mental health break!
Have you checked on your mental health this season yet?
To help stay balanced during the holidays, I try to spread things out throughout the weeks and try not to double book events so I don't overextend myself. I used to not do that and would just be tired every week. Now I limit my time and energy and choose wisely on who and how much time I want to invest in people. It took a couple years but I've learned that sometimes saying "no" to others means saying "yes" to yourself, and it's okay to do that and not feel guilty about it.
As always, thanks for reading and sending you air hugs!
