TUESDAY TREND / OUTFIT :: Tribal Prints and Spotted Dots

11.19.2013

 Remember last week's Tuesday Trend on camo? Well here's a new week so here's another new trend for you! This week is all about mixing prints...

{WHAT I WORE} tribal dress/sunglasses c/o Charlotte Russe (similar HERE and HERE) :: Dynamic Asia hat (similar HERE) :: gifted Marc Jacobs bag from the bf (old) :: Kixies tights c/o Maile Cabral PR (similar HERE) :: Bakers purple ankle boots (old) :: personal jewelry collection

One of the fun new trends I wanted to try was mixing patterns and prints. Here I wore a Charlotte Russe tribal dress and mixed it up with some spotted Kixies tights (which were thigh highs and amazingly didn't fall!). Polished off this fall style look with my trusty go-to Marc Jacobs tan bag, a fun Dynamic Asia black hat, and a splash of Bakers purple ankle boots. Plus, an outfit isn't complete without accessories right? Since there were so many patterns going on, I kept the jewelry simple. You don't want to overdo it, you know what I mean?

{FASHION TIP: Stick with the same color scheme when mixing prints so it doesn't seem overwhelming.}

Have an awesome week and stay tuned for next week's Tuesday Trend!
