OUTFIT :: A Bid Farewell (Almost) to Winter

3.18.2014

As we slowly bid farewell to our so-called "winter" weather here in SoCal, it's almost time to start putting away our trench coats. Bummer huh? This winter season went by so fast and spring is nearly approaching. One minute it's cold, the next minute it's hot and what's a girl to wear? Something to combine both seasons, that's what...

{WEARING} gifted J Crew sweater (similar HERE) :: Nasty Gal top (similar HERE) :: Papers & Peonies shorts/necklace ::
House of Harlow 1960 ring from Glam Boutique :: heels c/o Charlotte Russe (similar HERE)

Squeezing in a quick outfit post before my busy week continues. I only have about 6 weeks left of graduate school (ahhh!) so you'll just have to bare with me until then. Here I'm wearing my lazy go-to outfit idea as we transition from winter to spring weather. During this time, it's all about layering and mixing both of your wardrobes. Hence the sweater and shorts combo. It keeps you warm in the morning and the shorts keep you cool throughout the day. The perfect SoCal style for these weird weather days.

Keep it simple, keep it easy, keep it comfy.

  3. You will want a slip or spanks or something as support with thin dresses. (Not sheer, just thin.) Ultimately, I'm really happy with mine. I wore it to sing with a jazz band, and it was a HUGE hit.
