LAFC's Open Runway Series (pt.2) ft. Kimberly Luu Designs

Last month I sat and watched LA Fashion Council's (LAFC) first Open Runway series (here). This month, however, I decided to participate as one of their emerging designers and it was beyond amazing! Not only did I get to showcase some of my new creations (including two I designed the week of the show - yes, I know, crazy right?) but we were also being filmed by E! Online for the Producers of Fashion Police for a potential new reality show. Wow - major cool beans there!

My designer rack before the show started (details here).

***BIG THANKS to LA Fashion Council + team, Comcast Production Crew from E! Online, Couture Nightclub, all the models/designers/assistants, and everyone who attended this incredible night! It was so much fun and felt so much love. I hope to do it again soon.

Guess what? You can help make that happen! After each LAFC Open Runway series, there is a voting poll open to the public where you can vote for your favorite designer (*ahem* me right?). It already started and the voting is only going on until Monday, August 12th. You can vote once every hour, every day (yay - the more the better!). The designer with the most votes at the end wins and has a chance to showcase their designs at LAFC's S/S '14  Collections in October which would be so super awesome to do, I must say! I really love designing and it's basically been a hobby for these past years but if you love my work too, then click + vote for my green dress design on Facebook HERE. It would be greatly appreciated. ~ Many thanks in advance! :)

  1. The families those adopt these dogs have my full respect. I was reading stories online regarding a family that adopted a pair of dogs, one was blind and the other was his buddy who used to guide him through the ways. The reason why the family adopted both of them was because of the bond these two dogs had with each other.
